1881 Restaurant

1881 Restaurant

The 1881 Restaurant is on the fourth floor of the museum, offering cafe and restaurant services. Run by the SAGARDI group, the restaurant offers traditional Mediterranean cuisine around the large outdoor terrace with wonderful, unique views of the Barcelona skyline.

The 1881 Restaurant, which is certified with the Mediterranean Diet mark from the Mediterranean Diet Foundation, has an exclusive direct purchasing agreement with the Barcelona Fishermen’s Association and has the Local Sale-Short Circuit mark from the Government of Catalonia’s Department of Agriculture, Stock Farming, Fisheries and Food and the Catalan Cookery Institute Foundation.

1881 Indianas Terrace

A cocktail in the classic tradition of mixed drinks, with sounds evoking all the ports visited by Catalan sailors. It pays tribute to the Catalan printed textiles used to trade for the overseas products that arrived in Barcelona at the end of the 19th century from Mediterranean and Atlantic trade. These were known as indianas.
